Dr. Emily Nesgoda, OD
Dr. Emily Nesgoda is a Mechanicsburg native and proud graduate of Cumberland Valley High School. She received her Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience with a minor in Psychology from Lehigh University and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Arizona College of Optometry with clinical honors.
During her training, Dr. Nesgoda completed clinical rotations at a multispecialty private practice in Utah, an advanced ocular disease site at the White River Junction VA Medical Center in Vermont, and a fast-paced surgical practice in Prescott, Arizona. These experiences helped shape her strong clinical foundation and sparked a passion for primary care optometry in the areas of ocular disease. Dr. Nesgoda is excited to bring these skills back to her hometown where she will provide full scope optometric services to friends and neighbors in our community.
In her free time, Dr. Nesgoda enjoys hiking, baking, exploring local restaurants and coffee shops, and spending time with her long-haired dachshund, Moose.
